Role Overview:

We are looking to hire a Market Development Specialist with experience within the cement industry to support our business in North America.   As a Market Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the introduction and testing of new performance enhancing additives, contributing to the advancement of cement and binder manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

1.Introduction of New Performance and Grinding Aids:

Develop comprehensive plans for the introduction of new performance additives into cement and binder manufacturing processes.

2.         Testing and Evaluation:

Conduct on-site trials and experiments to assess the efficacy of new products in real-world conditions.

3.         Technical Support:

Troubleshoot any issues related to the application of performance additives in cement and binder manufacturing processes.

4.         Knowledge Sharing and Training:

Stay updated on the latest advancements in performance additives technology and share knowledge within the organization.

5.         Quality Assurance:

Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and reliability in product performance.

Position Requirements

·         A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry,or a related technical field.  Advanced degree preferred.

·         Previous experience in the cement industry, with a focus on grinding processes and additives.

·         Strong understanding of cement chemistry and supplementary cementing materials (SCM) manufacturing and grinding processes.

·         Proven track record in designing and conducting experiments, preferably in an industrial setting.

·         Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

·         Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.

·         Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·         Drive Sustainable Solutions

·         Willingness to travel frequently (50%+) to customer sites and production facilities.

·         Regular visits to the Beachwood HQ to interact with product management and Research & Development
