As a Market and Competitive Intelligence Analyst your responsibilities will include the following:
Gather, analyze and deliver intelligence on MSI services, its competitiveness (market conditions, competitors offering and customer's requirements) to drive Motorola solutions service offerings: 50%
Liase with product/service organization, sales organization and external sources to gather information and build an understanding of current MSI services, performance and improvements
Produce analyses of markets & competitor's ecosystems/alliances and present findings as well as recommendations. Provide specific intelligence on an ongoing basis.
Help develop comparison models with competitors on overall service offering and on ongoing projects, supporting local teams
Support the construction of MSI service offering: 40%
Based on the market/competitive intelligence & understanding of MSI offerings, liaise with central organizations & sales organization to help build the product/service requirements & pricing positioning for the region
Produce recommendations for Motorola Solutions businesses and its go-to-market in EMEA region, taking into account the competitive environment & market growth expectations
Work with products & services, sales, operations & marketing/communications teams to help deliver and launch those service offerings. Serve as the internal and external evangelist for those offering, working with the sales channel and key customers. Support promotion process with inputs on required pricing
Motorola Solutions strategic processes/ EMEA management session: 10%
In order to successfully execute the main duties of the position, the candidate must demonstrate high communication skills with high profile Motorola partners and Motorola EMEA staff members. It needs to attend external events (partner conferences or industry events) & gather external data in order to gain competitive knowledge
The position reports into the Markets & Strategy Director MSI EMEA. As such, the position is in charge of establishing recommendations, plan and budgetary proposals. The position is then fully in charge implementing the processes and procedures linked to its function.
