Are you an experienced Military Fires Analyst? Then we have an opportunity for you to lead and support the DECIFER Quick Reaction Test (QRT) to develop a common joint integrated CONOPS and codified TTPs to synchronize current and emerging maritime ISR and Fires capabilities within the modern multi-domain environment. DECIFER QRT was established to capture best practices for Fires and Effects for Maritime Kill Chains to ensure Kill Webs and Kill Chains are executed with better PRECISION, SPEED, and SCALE across the battlespace.

As a Joint Exercise Planner you will participate with a team of diverse individuals to:

  • Aid in developing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), Concepts of Operations, and other documents used DoD-wide to solve challenging warfighter problems, with the objective to enhance system interoperability, suitability, survivability, lethality (as applicable), and effectiveness.

A week in the life of a Military Fires Analyst:

  • Provide analytical support services to the Team Lead related to the aspects of test planning, test article development, test conduct, data collection, data analysis and reporting.

  • Support the test team in test design, establish of measures of performance and evaluation, and develop detailed test requirements to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.

  • Perform data collection and rigorous analysis, integrating automation where possible.

  • Offer risk reduction strategies, risk mitigation plans, and fully document existing processes, project enhancements, and test results.

  • Generate and execute a test plan to deliver Test Products.

  • Develop reports and support project reviews with Service, interagency, and Combatant Command organizations as necessary

Job Requirements

  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility

  • BS/BA and 5-7 years of experience with maritime fires (air/surface); a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of a degree

  • Experience with live, virtual, and constructive test venues

  • Experience operating warfighting simulations/simulators, scenario driven events, and training software

  • Knowledge and experience in test planning and design, execution, and evaluation
