We are currently seeking a Marine Logistics Lead Finished Chartering & Risk out of our FishHawk office located in Lithia, Florida.

The purpose of this position is to manage and execute finished goods chartering activities from the US Gulf, (Tampa, New Orleans, and Galveston), and finished goods chartering activities for MWSPC. This includes working with planning, production scheduling, distribution and storage to optimize business priorities. This position will also lead Northern Latin American Vessel Charting activities & strategy, manage Mosaic's freight risk position within MCRC Position Limits, and develop & track Marine Team Metrics.

What will you do?

  • Finished goods chartering activities from the US Gulf, (Tampa, New Orleans, and Galveston), and MWSPC. This entails working with Brokers and Owners to contract freight on behalf of Mosaic Global Sales to support CFR sales to Mosaic's distribution channels and customers while remaining legally compliant with internal policies and adhering to insurance requirements.

  • Lead the Northern Latin American Vessel Charting activities and strategy. Mosaic's International Sales team has identified Northern Latin America as a key geography to protect and grow our sales volumes by offering CFR terms and finding combinations of part cargoes to add value to our customers while achieving cheaper freight. This position will support the initiative and work with International Sales to identify and execute opportunities.

  • Manage Mosaic's freight risk position within MCRC Position Limits. Managing Mosaic's freight position is critical to conveying our risk exposure to the MCRC and the rest of the company. This position will track Mosaic's long and short volumetric and value at risk position.

  • Develop and track Marine Team Metrics and identify opportunities to improve the business. Individual metrics for everyone on the Marine Team have been identified and are being tracked & reported monthly on a shared drive. This position supports the continued tracking of the Marine Team Metrics and will work with the rest of the team to identify new metrics to track that will help improve the business.

What do you need for this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marine Logistics and Intermodal Transportation or equivalent from a Maritime University required

  • 2+ years of Marine Experience required

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Customer Service preferred

  • Service procurement experience preferred

  • Experience working on board Marine Vessels preferred

  • People Leadership experience preferred

  • Excellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint capabilities required

  • Able to utilize technology solutions to optimize supply chain situations

  • Project Management and CPM process

  • Finance knowledge

  • Must be able to successfully navigate in crucial conversations

  • Strong leadership ability, excellent communicator.

  • Negotiation skills

  • Passionate work ethic willing to assist teammates when assistance or coverage is required. Satisfy supply chain performance metrics and customer service goals.

  • Willing to take risks and to innovate new processes.

  • Authorized to work in the US.

The Ecologist Lead position will serve as the key point of contact in managing the day-to-day workflow and coordinating projects cross-functionally with the Ecology team while providing support and expert knowledge for mining permits, permit modifications and regulatory approvals to meet business objectives. Additional responsibilities will include providing technical expertise in various biological and ecological assessments required by mining permits and providing biological expertise, problem solving, and technical assistance for permitting projects. The Ecologist Lead will be expected to interact and meet with regulatory agencies in support of mine permitting efforts and present materials at public hearings What will you do? * Serve as the key point of contact on ecology matters for the company and coordinates all high profile wildlife ecology projects, which may include providing direction to or supervising other internal and external ecologists. Provide support and expert knowledge to mine permitting staff and reclamation ecologists relating to the various ecological aspects required for permit approvals and compliance. Work across business functions to inform and advise on required environmental approvals and compliance requirements that effect business objectives. Implement and monitor wildlife management programs that support the beneficial use of reclaimed and restored habitat. * Assists in Federal 404 and State ERP permit application preparation and submission. Prepare and submit all required permit applications for state and federally protected wildlife species. Communicate with regulatory agencies and attends/presents at public hearings as necessary. * Monitors pre and post mining habitats in support of or in compliance with permit requirements. Researches new and keeps current on the rules and requirements of each regulatory agency regarding biological and ecological environments and concerns to facilitate permit processing and expedite completion. * Prepare reports as required by county, state and federal agencies. * Miscellaneous permitting duties. What do you need for this role? * Bachelor's Degree.
