SW Dock Installer Location: San Rafael, CA Bellingham Marine is the largest and most comprehensive marina builder in the world.

We are looking for competent candidates for a new project which consists of repairing concrete and foundations over water. Hourly compensation starts at $18.00 and may increase dependent upon experience. Position Summary Performs any combination of the essential duties and responsibilities of marina construction and floating dock installation while on project site. Successful candidates will be required to participate in random drug screening per our Drug Free Workplace policy. Dependability for work schedule is crucial.

Job placement in San Rafael is guaranteed for 4 months. Travel throughout California may be required thereafter. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs construction of marinas by installing floating docks in the water at the job site per blueprint specifications and per direction of Crew Lead and/or Construction Project Manager; Operates equipment and machinery in a knowledgeable, safe, and effective manner; Follows and applies safety rules and techniques; Reports any problems with construction duties to supervisor; May operate forklift to transport floats; places and aligns floats into correct order and position, following blueprint specifications; Uses hardware, such as bolts, washers, rods, lumber, and uses necessary hand tools; Positions and fastens all required hardware and materials onto floats using wrenches, rubber mallets, and others appropriate tools, ensuring floats are assembled correctly; and Performs other duties as assigned.
