Job Summary

Portfolio Product Marketing: This individual plays a critical role in the short- and long-term success of NetApp and is responsible for the development, prioritization and execution of product portfolio marketing strategies, connecting existing customers and prospects with our core message.

Develops, enhances or revises marketing collateral for web, print or other media channels. May function as editor for formal business communications. May design and implement measurements to analyze messaging program effectiveness and quantify revenue generated from executed programs.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; especially customer facing content.- Develop, position & promote a portfolio of market-leading, differentiated, monetizable product offerings.- Develop, execute and manage the content strategy, including the go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.- For both new and next generation products, work closely with cross-teams as they define product fit to market, messaging, pitches, packaging and pricing, marketing materials and rollout schedules.- Partner with product, other product marketing teams, sales, and cross-functional teams to define and execute strategies.- Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.- Strong ability to manage/mentor other team members and/or vendors.- Ability to influence large teams, negotiate ideas, and drive to quick decisions.- Ability to drive design and messaging accurately throughout communications vehicles worldwide.- measure effectiveness of product marketing. Continuously improve to optimize results. - Must have a deep knowledge of the market, customers, competitors, influencers and partners to guide content creation and GTM strategies.- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.- Broad understanding of NetApp's products and services technologies/concepts in a distributed environment.

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

In this position, you will be responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all Subcontract and Procurement activities for the Marine Business Unit of Navigation and Maritime Systems Division. You will be responsible for the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. You will supervise a staff of 12 professionals in their duties of preparation of bid packages, conducting bidders conferences, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, and administering resulting subcontracts. You will be required to establish and manage to identified metrics in accordance with GSC requirements and in consideration of Program requirements. Further, will be accountable for actively monitoring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements and provide education and assistance to ensure team performs at advanced levels of compliance.
