TrueCommerce is seeking an experienced EDI Mapping Specialist. The Mapping Specialist II analyzes, designs, develops, and maintains EDI related projects such as Trading Partner Maps, Customer ERP maps, Shipping Labels, Packing Lists, and Specifications where applicable. The position requires programmatic, logical thinking, and the ability to grasp the use of proprietary software to develop the aforementioned. Experience with Gentran is preferred!

As an EDI Mapping Specialist you will:

• Map Development

• Develop or modify Trading Partner Maps and/or Client Maps, Label Templates, Packing Slips, and Electronic Label Plug-ins per Client and Client Trading Partner requirements where applicable in the organization

• Master or become a SME for all project types such as Data Transformation and OCR

• Examine Trading Partner/Client specification modifications to assess impact to current Trading Partner/Client maps, labels, packing slips

• Coordinate QC/QA process of new and modified Trading Partner /Client maps, labels and packing slips where applicable

• Define and implement projects related to standardization, organization and process development as they relate to mapping development and maintenance

• Mentor Mapping Specialist members when possible

• Technology Management

• Develop tokens and define their usage for Trading Partner/Client maps, labels and packing slips where applicable

• Develop standards for building Trading Partner/Client maps, labels and packing slips to ensure functionality and consistency where applicable

• Assist Sales Engineer in assessing specific transaction integrations against Trading Partner/Client maps and the customer's ERP system

• Develop and maintain mapping templates to ensure consistency, quality and currency

• Provide input to a QC Specialists to establish and maintain a QA process for Trading Partner/Client maps, labels and packing slips where applicable

• Professional Services Department Support

• Develop and conduct ongoing training for TrueCommerce employees requiring Trading Partner/Client maps, labels and packing slips knowledge

• Support PSD with EDI Standards, Trading Partner/Client feedback, labels and advanced troubleshooting

• Master knowledge of our OCR and Data Transformation solutions in both the US and UK to assist with and troubleshoot errors

• Execute on other assignments as directed

EDI Mapping Specialist Requirements for Success:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science preferred

• 2-3 years EDI / ERP technical background or an understanding of transaction processing

• 5+ years client services, business to business, computer support/service experience

• 1-2 years Gentran experience preferred

• Programming knowledge also preferred

• Experience supporting, configuring, and integrating business systems

• Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills are a must!

• Ability to work with customers, internal business units, and third party vendors

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
