We are seeking Mapping Interns to join our Corporate Insurance Team. This temporary position will start June 17, and complete on July 30, with hours worked being Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This position is based at our Spokane, Washington location, and reports to the SVP Corporate Insurance Services.

This position will be responsible for migrating map data to a new platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for populating planting data associated with shapefile base layers.

  • Add custom features present on map sets, using existing editions of map sets as guides.

  • Digitize and alter shapefiles.

  • Assign appropriate data to shapefile attribute tables.

  • Add custom points of interest to map sets as necessary.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Successfully navigate and utilize a suite of GIS software tools.
