We are seeking Mapping Interns to join our Corporate Insurance Team. This temporary position will start June 17, and complete on July 30, with hours worked being Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. This position is based at our Spokane, Washington location, and reports to the SVP Corporate Insurance Services.
This position will be responsible for migrating map data to a new platform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for populating planting data associated with shapefile base layers.
Add custom features present on map sets, using existing editions of map sets as guides.
Digitize and alter shapefiles.
Assign appropriate data to shapefile attribute tables.
Add custom points of interest to map sets as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Successfully navigate and utilize a suite of GIS software tools.
