As a Manufacturing Training Team Lead you will be responsible for supporting the development, coordination and oversight of the Manufacturing technical training solutions that meet organizational needs across the globe in alignment with the Plexus Talent Management strategy. In this role, you will partner with Manufacturing functional training owner and regional and site training teams, ensuring appropriate needs assessment, program execution, learning management system utilization and results measurement for the Manufacturing functions training initiatives. As a Manufacturing Training Team Lead, you will works as part of the Human Resources Department to help support and increase overall business results by identifying and driving key areas of opportunity and learning needs for the organization.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Lead and manage a core team of training developers who are responsible for the development, execution and analysis of Manufacturing functions training, partnering with Manufacturing functional owners and technical SMEs to identify and address training needs using a variety of instructional techniques.
Partner with HRMS resources to ensure consistent utilization and continuous improvement of the learning management system.
Effectively lead, develop and evaluate team of training professionals, focusing on proactive performance management and talent development activities.
Provide leadership to the Manufacturing functional training owners and subject matter experts, ensuring consistency in application of Plexus practices and procedures to the functional training process.
Identify and lead efforts to continuously improve Plexus training practices and procedures through the application of data gathering, analysis and Lean Sigma tools.
Accountable to execute on Plexus' Best People strategy, leaders will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring that their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
Develop, maintain communications activities in support of and actively participate in the Plexus Global Training Network.
Develop and monitor metrics to determine training developer resource capacity.
Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated 15%).

Here's what we are looking for:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
Five (5) years of related experience is required.
CPLP certification is preferred, but not essential.
Manufacturing industry experience is highly desirable.
