Manufacturing Technician

Piper Health Sciences is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join a pharmaceutical and biotech company located in Gaithersburg, MD that focuses on creating life-changing medicines for people worldwide. The Manufacturing Technician will perform upstream and downstream manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Technician include:

• Operate various manufacturing equipment such as incubators, centrifuges, autoclaves, washers, chromatography skids, etc.

• Oversee troubleshooting, assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance processes of lab equipment

• Manage all documentation following cGMP processes

• Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance of all manufacturing process equipment and lab equipment

• Train staff on the operation of manufacturing equipment

• Assist with investigations

Qualifications for the Manufacturing Technician include:

• 2+ years of experience with manufacturing equipment

• Knowledge of cell culture operations

• Experience with all-stream or downstream manufacturing processes

• B.S. in a science-related field

Compensation for the Manufacturing Technician includes:

• Rate Range: $30 - $35 Per Hour depending on experience
