Manufacturing Technician

Maintenance Technician Direct Hire Hours: 1:30pm- 11:30pm as a normal Monday-Friday with weekend availability Pay rate: $25-30 an hour to start based on experience. All mechanics average 10 hours a week of overtime.

Job description: The primary role of the Mechanic is to provide competent and effective mechanical and electrical maintenance support to the production line and facility operations in a safe manner. Qualifications: 3 years in an industrial environment in a mechanical or related position Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems Read & understand electrical drawings Strong mechanical knowledge of gear and motor principals and operation Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems repair Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Responsibilities:

The primary role of the manufacturing technician is to provide competent and effective mechanical and electrical maintenance support to the production line and facility operations in a safe manner The manufacturing technician directly supports daily plant productivity and operations This position performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on all food processing and packaging equipment utilizing a variety of hand and power tools In addition, this individual ensures that all good manufacturing policies, food safety quality regulations and safety rules are consistently met Responsible for set-up of assigned machine(s) to ensure daily production goals are met Responsible for coordination of product changeovers to maximize line efficiencies Verify that lines are supplied with necessary components to meet daily production schedule Essential Functions: The technician directly supports daily plant productivity and operations.
