Manufacturing Technician

Tesla is currently seeking Manufacturing Technicians who will be focused on working on the Trec program of building the units from start to finish, assisting with troubleshooting the units themselves rather than the testing equipment.

• Display a positive attitude and practice strong work ethics that reflects the mission, philosophy and goals of Tesla

• Maintain manufacturing production tools to optimal working order

• Perform all scheduled cleaning of production tooling equipment and limited preventative maintenance (PM) tasks

• Assist in creation and maintenance of associated documentation

• Respond quickly to resolve unanticipated equipment problems

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred

• Experience on Laminators, Pumps, RTV, Pottant and Conveyor Systems is preferred, but not required

• Experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

• Demonstrated safe work practices, able to lift up to 60 lbs

• Exhibit a positive attitude and effective communication skills

• Ability to command the english language, both written and verbal
