As a Manufacturing Technician, you will join our Stretch Production Team to help to set up and operate equipment as well as make necessary adjustments to meet safety and quality standards as we continue to scale our robot fleet into a worldwide commercially available product. Every day, you will work with our production team to manufacture complex robotic assemblies, identify and debug problems in processes, products, equipment and work for solutions. To thrive in this role, you must be able to interpret engineering and manufacturing documentation and be willing to take on an ever-changing list of tasks and responsibilities as new needs arise within our robot fleet.

Day to day activities:
Assemble complex robotic assemblies in support of the Stretch Product Line
Work within a diverse manufacturing team comprised of supervisors, team leads, and multidisciplinary engineers to deliver quality products across the Stretch Product Line
Work with engineers in set-up, calibration and troubleshooting tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies
Work from BOM, assembly drawings and/or verbal instructions to repair or modify assemblies
Maintain production machines and equipment to ensure the production area is safe to work, productive and has required inventory
Identify problems in processes, products, equipment and work for solutions
Identify and document failures on complex electromechanical systems
Required Skills:
Experience assembling, repairing, reworking, and/or testing electromechanical assemblies
Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
Previous experience following technician instructions by interpreting engineering blueprints and technical terms
Ability to use enterprise and engineering software such as Jira, Salesforce, and Arena
Ability to use a multimeter and basic inspection tools
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
Must be able to work 7AM to 3:30PM M-F
Preferred skills:
Experience troubleshooting electromechanical assemblies and recommending courses of action
Ensure full adherence to 6S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) practices at all times
Work independently, reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision
Previous experience testing finished products for defects, debugs failures and anomalies
Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working together
Experience in prototype manufacturing
Experience with cable harness manufacturing or repair
