The Role:

Our site in Colorado Springs is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Lead for our EUV department on SECOND SHIFT. The team lead in the Manufacturing Area (Injection Molding or Assembly) demonstrates expertise and efficiency performing tasks associated to each manufacturing technician level.

What You'll Do:

• SME, proficient in duties of Manufacturing Technician I, II, III

• Leading daily tier 1 meetings: Updating team on departmental goals progress, addressing safety, quality, delivery and cost concerns.

• Actively leading department projects related to safety, quality, delivery, cost and general continuous improvement initiatives.

• Updating departmental Tier boards with Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics. Discusses the goal, the progress, the results and addresses any gaps or escalation. Follows up with any actions "Red cards"

• Possessing the knowledge and the ability to provide guidance on manufacturing processes and computer-based questions to manufacturing technicians.

• Actively communicating production needs and collaborating with supporting functions: Process Tech, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers, Scheduling department, etc.

• Ability to back up employees for breaks and assuming backup supervisor duties as needed.

• Define the job allocation for each employee and creates a rotational schedule when appropriate. Ensures the breaks and lunch time and duration are taken correctly.

• Ability to assist or work in other work areas/departments. Employee has cross-trained at other areas (i.e. EUV Assembly, EUV Machining, 2nd Ops, Advance Packaging)

• Assuming back up supervisor role, as needed.

• Completing Layered Process Audits (LPA) and Advance Safety Inspections (ASI).

• Ensures the inventory levels of components is accurate.

• Ensure the employees received adequate training.

• Ensure the employees skills improve over time thanks to cross-training in different areas.

• Provides guidance to Trainers (TWI) and what documents are needed

• Complete LPA & process audits

• Corroborating conditional formatting of production log.

• Complete pass down

What We Seek:

• The lead is also considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area and can troubleshoot issues of various complexity levels.

• The team lead provides input and ideas for any project related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost and general process improvements in the department.

• The team lead is expected to update and corroborate accuracy of SAP, MES, logs and boards data.

• The lead actively collaborates with departmental supporting functions.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• 6+ years of related experience.
