Manufacturing Technician FT

The Manufacturing Technician at ArcWorks acts as an Operations support in manufacturing's daily operations. The main goal of the Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is to support the Manufacturing Engineer (M.E.) with daily tasks to keep the production floor running smoothly. The Technician will focus on preventative maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and help the M.E. with implementing new equipment and processes.

Minimum Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma and 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

• Associate's Degree and 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

• 2+ years experience with machine maintenance and trouble shooting or relevant experience as a mechanic or other technician where machines and/or equipment are involved.

Required Skills:

• Must be mechanically inclined

• Must have the ability to use basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment

• Basic working knowledge of electronics and wiring

• Basic working knowledge of pneumatic systems

• Ability to perform mechanical and electrical trouble shooting

• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams

• Ability to source and order the needed components for repairs/projects
