Our team in the Minneapolis area is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician to assist with process development, production ramp-up and manufacturing sustainment for the percutaneous mitral valve replacement system. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will actively assist in the design, prototyping, development, and testing of processes and fixtures. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the environment and equipment (and its associated components and supplies) through preventative maintenance procedures.

Lead the development of processes for nitinol components such as shape setting, chemical etching, mechanical deburring, grit blasting and electropolishing
Assist in the development of test methods and parameters for system verification
Complete documentation of project information to conform to quality system and regulatory requirements
Interface with Manufacturing, Quality and Development teams to ensure timely execution of tasks to meet project and production goals
We are looking for someone with astute problem-solving abilities that is resourceful, adaptable and can operate with a sense of urgency. You must have strong communication skills and be able to receive direction and work independently.
Someone with a mechanical inclination would be ideal! For you to be successful in this role you should have prior experience and understanding of Nitinol processes as well as a general knowledge of catheter design and construction. A Bachelor's or Technical degree is preferred, but those with equivalent work experience are encouraged to apply.
