Job Description:

In this role, individuals may be responsible for conducting tests on a variety of RF or digital printed circuit boards, subassemblies, or end products. Must be capable of using a variety of test equipment, logging information in technical databases and have a basic understanding of engineering schematics. Basic troubleshooting skills are required. This should include troubleshooting product, subassembly, and circuit board failures to component level. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team.

Hiring for all shifts

  • 1st, 2nd and weekends!


  • AA-AS Degree plus 0-2 years of technician or troubleshooting experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a electrical technican degree program

  • Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering theory

  • Associates degree (technical discipline)

  • Electronics / RF Troubleshooting Experience

  • Experience with Harris RFCD products and assembly processes

  • Able to perform LabVIEW driven automated tests

  • Familiar with basic test equipment, i.e. Signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers

  • Able to read and understand schematic diagrams

  • MS Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Regularly demonstrates a positive attitude

  • Strong Customer focus

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements

  • Strong communication skills

  • Familiarity with basic computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel (Unicam knowledge a plus)

  • Willingness to work and learn in fast-paced production environment

The QC Technician is responsible for routine Microbiological lab testing with accurate, timely recording of test results into the business integrated module as well as utilizing lab reference materials for information regarding testing. Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Develop and manage the quality control lab documentation systems. * Perform necessary sampling of the facilities and lab areas following established QC protocols. * Participation on food safety team may be required. * Participation in contamination troubleshooting team(s) * Communication of information about the quality control testing results will be required to be reported to plant staff and management team. * Assist Operations or Engineering Teams by being responsive to any requests relative to QC testing quickly and efficiently prioritizing as necessary. * Participation in team meetings to help outline scheduling and priorities. * Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices for the care, handling and storage of food products; and report any known or observed violations to management. Utilize HACCP philosophy and procedures in everyday work routine. * Involvement in investigations for non-conforming product with Quality Assurance, Management team and production departments. * Support shelf-life testing and prioritization. * Support Quality Control of new product development. The following are required: * An Associate's Degree or higher in biology, biotechnology, microbiology, chemistry, or related field * A strong understanding and experience with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) * Experience with lab documentation and work instructions * Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail * Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office * A strong work ethic with high work standards * Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, organize, and plan responsibilities to meet customers' needs * Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to work with a very interactive and self-directed work team This position is subject to a work interview to demonstrate lab techniques.
