Are you accustomed to working in highly regulated environments using small hand tools? Are you able to respond to shifting priorities to meet production demands? We have multiple Manufacturing Technician vacancies in our Biomedical HQ in Exton, PA.
This is a 2nd shift position with the hours of 2:30PM - 11:00PM
Assure that DSM products are of consistent and high quality by producing products in compliance with established DSM/GMP procedures.
Perform all operations in controlled environment in accordance with DSM Standard Operating Procedures.
Assure product quality through close attention to detail, careful product handling and strict adherence to procedures.
Keep detail and accurate records of all production activities following DSM/GMP guidelines, including all shop orders documentation.
Respond with flexibility to changes in processes, production or personnel.
Interact constructively with other departments to insure timely execution of production.
Act in accordance with GMPs and provide feedback to management regarding areas of non-compliance.
Work with small and delicate parts, hand tools, fixtures, and various types of machinery & measuring/test equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Assembly Production Supervisor.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a related industry. Experience in one or more of the following areas: working with microscope, handling of small parts, operating various machines & equipment, and reading part drawings required.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Computer literate, basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
Strong attention to detail in department processes & procedures.
Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity skills required to be capable of handling parts with dexterity and care.
Basic knowledge of drawings, work instructions and part specifications.
