The Manufacturing Team Lead plans, organizes and directs personnel and resources to manufacture OLED products. The incumbent also provides technical decision-making and coordinates support services to ensure facilities and equipment operate consistent with documented production schedules.Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Team Lead plans, organizes and directs personnel and resources to manufacture OLED products. The incumbent also provides technical decision-making and coordinates support services to ensure facilities and equipment operate consistent with documented production schedules.Responsibilities:
- Supervise Manufacturing activities to ensure operations are efficiently carried out in compliance with all government regulations and company policies or procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee the selection, training, development, motivation, and evaluation of employees. Interact with department personnel and provide daily supervision. Schedule the coordination of department personnel and provide problem solving and trouble-shooting assistance and support to department personnel.
- Review production schedules and metrics, ensure documentation is maintained, and investigate variances as appropriate.
- Support the Adesis Quality Management System, including management of manufacturing non-conformances, and changes to equipment, processes, and documents.
- Provide project updates in customer teleconferences and meetings as required.
- Conducts performance reviews of direct reports and provide timely feedback on technical and operational performance.
- Support special projects and/or other duties as assigned.
- MS or PhD in Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in technical production, R&D, and/or new product development experience required.
- Prior supervisory experience desired.
- Strong computer skills in standard & scientific systems, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ChemDraw, Reaxys and Scifinder.
- Working knowledge of ISO-9001, cGMP, and/or ICH Q7 in pharma or chemical regulated environments preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpretation of technical instructions from disparate information sources, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Proficient in safe processing techniques and pertinent OSHA, EPA, and FDA regulations.
- Working knowledge of analytical instrumentation used in chemical synthesis.
- Knowledge of Process Improvement methodology (ie., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or TOC).
- Ability to build, motivate and train high performing teams.
