Work you'll do

You will implement and advise in manufacturing automation projects using a mix of traditional and emerging technology to build unique solutions for each client. You will work alongside a dynamic team that directly contributes and influences the ultimate client outcomes we care so much about.

You will use your automation skills, be hands-on and work with colleagues to build solutions on top of a deep technological stack. This requires focus from the initial development of physical to digital signal (sensor) networks up through IIoT systems and the digital to physical return of those signals to change our client way of operating. We work with a wide variety of clients, often in a factory / plant environment, where you will be exposed to an even wider variety of processes and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of manufacturing and operations experience with emphasis on MES deployment

  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect leading digital transformations enabled by Siemens MES technology (Camstar, Simatic IT, etc.)

  • 2+ years of Industrial Automation experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and/or Process Historians (real-time database)

  • 1+ years of MindSphere implementation experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Ability to travel to client sites 50% of the time

  • Live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte's consulting offices

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
