Manufacturing Support Technician with
Electrical Experience

Work Details:
Hourly Wage $22-$24 (Direct Hire)

Second shift 4pm - 1:30 am

  • Provide unscheduled troubleshooting and repair support of equipment to the manufacturing/engineering lines, responding to breakdowns and provide root cause and corrective actions.
  • Maintain the equipment calibration process to comply with procedures
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing and test equipment to maintain a safe and reliable environment.
  • Implement equipment improvement projects related to equipment safety and product quality and delivery.
  • Interact within the Equipment Support Team and provide status updates and offer assistance to other group members to maintain a minimal to zero work order back log.

Requirements:

  • 2 or 4 year Electronics, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent Degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on work experience with electronics, electrical, or electrical equipment is preferred
  • Aptitude in troubleshooting, rebuilding, and maintaining various manufacturing equipment
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill

VIEW JOBS 10/24/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-01-22T00:00 Custodial Support Technician - 502057 SUMMARY: The Custodial Support Technician assists the Custodial Department by overseeing the inventory and maintenance of Custodial chemicals, supplies and equipment in accordance with operating procedures and all University policies, procedures and guidelines. The Custodial Support Technician also exemplifies and upholds the Facilities Department's mission which is to create and maintain an outstanding learning environment through constant attention to our community's needs and thoughtful care of our beautiful campus. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Oversees the inventory and maintenance of all chemicals, supplies and equipment * Delivers chemicals, supplies and equipment campus wide * Assists with project work and urgent needs including but not limited to floor work, flood cleanup, snow removal and deep cleaning * Assists with recycling operations and responsibilities when directed * Reports safety concerns to a Supervisor and ensures they are addressed * Communicates with a 3rd party contractor about trash and recycle management * Utilizes equipment including but not limited to a fork lift and backhoe operator WORKING HOURS/PHYSICAL EFFORT: * Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds * Requires the employee to work both inside and outside in cold, wet, and dry conditions * Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: * Minimum of a high school degree or educational equivalent * Minimum of three years' experience in custodial operations or related field preferred * General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook * REQUIRED: Must have a valid Driver's License and be able to produce a driving record with a minimum of 3 years of driving history in good standing. WORK HOURS: * Full-time, non-exempt position * This position will work 1st shift, but hours may vary; 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week; must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed * All Facilities employees are designated as essential personnel, and are subject to work outside the normal work schedule on an emergency basis, and are also subject to planned overtime work as required by the immediate supervisor.
