Job Description

Are you organized and passionate about optimizing manufacturing processes? Join our diverse team as a Material Coordinator! In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and improving activities related to kitting raw materials for manufacturing. Your expertise will ensure the smooth handling of critical materials, including finished, intermediate, and hazardous items, while maintaining strict compliance with regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and coordinate kitting activities for raw materials.

  • Handle critical materials with care, including hazardous items.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.

  • Work from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Implement best practices for inventory control, storage, returns, and medical device handling.

  • Prioritize critical action items/orders.

  • Be willing to work overtime or varied schedules as needed.

  • Utilize computer systems, including Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.

  • Apply 5S/Lean manufacturing principles.

  • Operate specialized machinery, such as forklifts and vertical order-pickers.

  • Provide recommendations for process improvements or deviations.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of proven experience for entry into this level.

  • Previous forklift and order-pulling experience is a plus.

  • Experience in handling hazardous materials is desirable.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems.

  • Familiarity with 5S/Lean manufacturing principles.

  • Ability to operate specialized machinery.

  • Dedication to safety and regulatory compliance.
