Lexington Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Supervisor. This person will lead the production team responsible for the onsite production and assembly of our medical devices.

You will develop and implement all of the processes in the production area(s) to meet goals, quality, and cost objectives. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and scheduling production activities to meet customer demands. Additionally, you will be responsible for the direction, leadership, and motivation of the production team. Our ideal candidate will embrace working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment; be a self-starter, independent, results-oriented team player with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines including shifting priorities. What you will do:

  • Oversee the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Train production technicians in proper procedures, coaches them to improve results, and evaluates performance.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with in-coming and off-going shift leaders about issues.
  • Review production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.
  • Assist with operating goals, expansion efforts, and implementation of new and advanced technology.
  • Work closely with Engineering to resolve production issues and actively participant in quality improvement initiative.

What you bring to the table:

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • 3 to 5 years prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong quality knowledge: GMP/GDP, ISO standards
  • Manufacturing system and process knowledge as well as experience with an ERP system
  • Leadership skills: able to motivate employees, coordinate activities, and manage performance.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively and communicating successfully in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
