Position Summary

Catalent is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our growing Inspection team in Bloomington, IN. This is a first shift position.

Catalent's Bloomington location provides drug substance manufacturing, drug product manufacturing, and related pharmaceutical services. This award-winning facility helps customers accelerate biologic drug development programs and bring better treatments to help patients live better, healthier lives. The Manufacturing Supervisor, Inspection is accountable for processes, personnel, safety, and compliance within their manufacturing area. A Manufacturing Supervisor, Inspection has the primary duty is to develop the best team, role model behaviors/values, and to deliver results in a compliant manner.

In concert with Catalent's Patient First philosophy, this role is paramount to ensure the efficacy and quality of our manufacturing processes which will ultimately yield safe drug products for patients.

The Role

  • Ensuring safety and GMP quality compliance

  • Ensuring staff are trained, motivated, and qualified for GMP work

  • Collaborating and communicating with support functions

  • Scheduling employees and managing work load for Inspection area

  • Reviewing and approving GMP documentation

  • Supporting and leading area Operational Excellence improvements

  • Provides direction on daily work, planning for up to 1 month in advance

The Candidate

  • High School/GED
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • 0-1 years of leadership experience
  • 2 years cGMP experience or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements

  • To safely and effectively perform their job duties, all employees performing inspection functions in designated Drug Product Primary, Drug Product Secondary, and Small Scale Manufacturing positions are required to have corrected 20/20 near vision, pass a color blindness test, and wear prescription safety glasses (if necessary) at the cost of Catalent.
