Will supervise, establish and coordinate the production schedule in a fabrication shop environment. Responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in all phases of a fabrication facility, including welding, fabricating, wiring, sand blasting, painting and QC testing. Perform other duties as required.

Ensures safe, efficient operation of all fabrication equipment and documents all work performed.
Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product internally and of subcontractors.
Maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations that affect the plant operations and comply with Federal regulations and company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in the plant.
Supervise workers in performing root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/failures, taking required corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions.
Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
BS degree in engineering, business or a related field
5 - 7 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing leadership role
Experience implementing lean principles (5S, Standard Work, Setup Reduction, Flow, TPM, Mistake-Proofing)
Physical Skill and Effort: Work requires accurate and coordinated manual skills. Work requires mostly moderate physical exertion.
