Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking an accomplished Manufacturing Supervisor to join the manufacturing team in Wilton, CT to support 2nd shift or 3rd shift cleanroom production operations. This person will be responsible for ensuring output of production and processes and assure a smooth transfer to Test/Certification / Integration Installation and Customer Support Processes. This company is a world leader in the manufacture of advanced technology systems for the semiconductor industry!

Ideal Qualities:

• Experience working in the engineering field

• Experience supervising a team of production or assembly technicians and making management decisions

• Self-Starter and able to create a detailed production schedule

• Acquire information on new production methods and means of production

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and how to integrate them into the workplace

• Able to work in a fast paced environment

• Ability to work in a cleanroom setting

• Adaptable to an everchanging environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree preferred with business or manufacturing operations. Minimum of a high school diploma required.

• 5 + years in production/manufacturing challenging technical environment

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity including direct people management.

• Previous work within SAP / ERP including reporting is strongly preferred.

• Ability to hire, train, develop, retain, performance manage and supervise manufacturing teams ranging from 10-15 employees.
