Schneider Electric's Square D manufacturing plant in Lexington, KY facility is seeking a motivated and versatile individual to serve as a Manufacturing Supervisor, supporting the third shift Equipment & Machine Maintenance Department and a portion of the Fabrication Department. Schneider Electric is a growing, dynamic company and the Lexington Square D manufacturing plant is a very vertically integrated MTS/MTO facility with a high level of automation. This position is for our third shift operation. The individual in this role will be directly responsible for the supervision of the maintenance team, a portion of the Fabrication Department and support continuous improvement of the Lexington plant's production equipment. This individual will also be the primary driver for the plant's Preventive Maintenance Program.
Candidate should possess a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge related to industrial processes (Maintenance, Fabrication, Assembly). This position requires a proven leader with the abilities to drive improvement within maintenance, fabrication, and/or assembly departments and troubleshoot issues related to Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical, and Electrical Systems.
This job might be for you if:
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Manager/Supervisor in high volume manufacturing
Bachelors Degree preferably related to industrial processes
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and driven individual desiring to make an immediate impact
Proven leadership skills with a drive to succeed
Working Knowledge of MS Office
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently
Ability to identify waste and drive it out of complex processes
Ability to prepare written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to strategically eliminate barriers
