  • Tools for Success
  • Deploying KWS strategic methodologies, systems, and tools, such as Autonomous Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, Problem Solving, Process Mapping, etc. to deliver site OEE and cost savings goals
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Demonstrated experience leading problem solving sessions (DMAIC, APS), facilitating multifunctional teams to eliminate issues
  • Strategize to Win
  • Continually collaborating with hourly personnel and supervisors to identify and troubleshoot chronic and sporadic losses through data analysis
  • Total Productive Maintenance Background Demonstrated experience leading TPM work to deliver the three year plant Compelling Business Need (CBN)
  • Empower Efficiency
  • Building capability in the Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization COEs (Center of Excellence) team to solve problems and analyze data

  • Developing and executing training for operations, leadership and plant associates on KWS methodologies, systems and tools

The team is applying new technologies and implementing methods to deploy, support, operate and scale Software as a Service (SaaS) products in cloud environments. Our current deployments are in the Amazon (AWS) Cloud environment. We seek eager, innovative, talented, driven engineering candidates to develop, innovate, and build stable, reliable, and highly available solutions. As a Site Reliability Engineer you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and technical leaders in areas including software development, technical support, and customer success to deploy, manage, and automate the SAS product solutions and operating infrastructure. We embrace a devops culture and use an agile development model to continuously deliver while also relentlessly seeking improvements in infrastructure capability, process, and quality. Your role will include deployments, automation, and monitoring to ensure healthy functioning and self-healing environments. The team will define best practices and a model Cloud SRE framework to scale across the institute. Become a leader at SAS. Primary Responsibilities: * Support infrastructure and manage SaaS operations using automated methods including various AWS services (e.g. CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, CloudWatch…) * Maintain current cloud environments and handle issues related to AWS infrastructure * Handle release, fixes, change management, and configuration management for deployed pre-production and production environments * Integrate 3rd party tools and capabilities with AWS Infrastructure (Dynatrace, etc.) * Participate in cloud projects, development automation, and best practices implementation related to new and existing deployments * Participate in on-call rotational assignments Qualifications Essential: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience * 2+ years of experience in cloud, high availability web hosting applications and related activities * 2+ years of experience in scripting in at least one high level scripting language such as python, ruby, bash or perl * Understanding of web-based systems and experience delivering multi-tenant cloud solutions. * Experience with Linux server applications and infrastructure * Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud products and infrastructure * Experience using a source code control system (ex. GIT, Mercurial, SVN) * Experience working in a devops model and Agile development methodology * Adept at working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. * Demonstrated problem solving skills Preferred: * Familiar with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes * Knowledge of DevOps processes for continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment pipelines (CD), build automation, configuration management (e.g. Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, etc.) is a plus * Passion for continuous learning and mastering computer-related technologies. * Be a proactive, self-directed, detail-oriented, independent worker with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
