Manufacturing Quality Specialist

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Quality Specialist at our Fargo, ND location. In this role, we are looking for an individual with a good knowledge of plant processes, including both assembly and fabrication.

• Work from part/assembly drawings, engineering specifications, and related information

• Perform process and product audits and manages yard sweeps

• Use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments

• Work with dimensional reports daily

• Support manufacturing quality reference investigating DAR/PDI/XPDI claims and following simple reactive projects

• Follow-up shop problems and rework supporting plant quality and referring to manufacturing quality reference

• Monitor containment actions and corrective actions put in place by the plant team

• Support plant quality and manufacturing quality reference in monitoring plant quality KPI as ADPU, FTQ, TGW

• Monitor processes execution as per instructions and quality procedures

• Perform CPA (Customer Product Audit) and apply proper demerit score

• Drive units to perform simple functional tests knowing main functions of each model

• Perform process audit (simple Process Control Plan Audit)

• Support in stock or WIP parts sorting in case of non conforming issues

• Support plant quality team in yard sweep inspections and activities management

• Collect data and make clear summaries

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience

• At least five years of previous experience in shop floor roles assembly or fabrication.

• At least three years of experience with MS Power Point and MS Excel softwares.

• Root cause and problem solving skills.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $31.20/hour
