Requirements:

Job Duties
Monitor product quality through regular sampling of cards in active production and performing visual and quantitative tests, including barcode and mag stripe encoding quality. Ensure product matches the appropriate job instructions including artwork and data proofs. Manage line rejects. Prepare production reports and perform various computer data-entry tasks.

Responsibilities

Inspect product on the manufacturing floor and in the QA Lab
Sample active production and perform qualitative and quantitative testing
Audit manufacturing process compliance at different stages
Follow job ticket information for the specifications of product and materials
Use test equipment to evaluate characteristics of raw material and finished goods
Use computer systems to track their time, activities, and product movements
Work as part of the team to coordinate compliance to ship dates.

Skills

HS Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Attention to detail and accuracy
Able to work well independently or in a team
Excellent verbal skills to communicate with employees on the production floor and stop the production process when a defect or flaw is identified
Good analytical and problem solving skills
High standard in computer literacy
Ability to become technically competent in the manufacturing process to be managed
Ability to prioritize work and work as a team to meet shared schedules

Job Title:--Public Health Nurse II - Quality Assurance The primary purpose of this position is to conduct quality assurance reviews with programs and initiatives within Public Health programs to assist with the improvement of quality service delivery for Health and Human Services clients. Essential Functions of the position: * Partner in the assessment, implementation and support of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process to achieve and sustain improvements in programs and services, demonstrate a return on investment and positively impact health outcomes and organizational culture. * Conduct quality assurance reviews of Public Health programs to assure compliance with applicable state, federal, and local policies and procedures and provide results to Health and Human Services Leadership. * Conduct program evaluations/reviews, assess areas in need of process improvements; record, analyze and report results and monitor effectiveness of implemented processes/practices. Minimum Education, Training and/or Experience: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a B.S. in Nursing which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of Public Health Nursing experience; or Master's in Public Health and graduation from a school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience; or graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience including one year of Public Health Nursing experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation: A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the N. C. Board of Nursing. Duties, Responsibilities, and Other Functions: * Duties, Responsibilities, and Other Functions: * Plan and organize case review assignments, record and analyze findings, create necessary reports, make recommendations and identify areas for improvement based on findings and in accordance with agency CQI process. * Conduct chart/program audits to assure compliance with applicable state, federal, local laws, rules and guidelines. * Monitor effectiveness of process improvement and implementation as part of the CQI process. * Maintain up to date records and documentation of all reviews. * Comply with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements when handling client information. * Assist in development, implementation and maintenance of electronic review tools and applications to be used as part of the CQI process. * * Assist in establishing review tools/data collection methods and integrating these into the appropriate program area. * Provide input on the compliance issues identified within program reviews and standards and assess areas in need of process improvements for compliance and effectiveness impacting service delivery. * Assist with creating and maintaining CQI tools and materials for use with specific problems and conditions as identified through the CQI process. * Provide technical assistance and consultation regarding use of quality assurance to management and staff and its role in the interpretation and application of federal and state law, policy and mandates. * Review Agreement Addenda (AA) and associated quality assurance components and determine compliance with AA requirements as assigned. * Assess compliance with service delivery within Public Health programs for potential impact, including compliance with public health accreditation standards. * Utilize Agreement Addenda and Quality Assurance tools to evaluate compliance with local, State, and federal regulatory standards. * Work collaboratively with CQI stakeholders to ensure that quality and standard of care measures are in place and functioning appropriately. * Participate in and/or lead Continuous Quality Improvement practices as needed or when requested. * Participate in program policy development and review as needed to comply with identified Quality Assurance findings and process improvements. * Assist with organizing and preparing for local, state and federal audits. * Assist with special projects associated with agency priorities as needed.
