A Manufacturing Process Engineer job in Cincinnati, Oh is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for creating routers for tools and cost-effective routing through the shop, identifying ways of expediting where possible.. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Mechanical or manufacturing Engineering, and five to seven years of experience with large turning, multi-axis milling, fabrication and assembly operations and machine tool applications in a job shop environment. Experience with weld engineering experience is strongly preferred. This is a very visible, contract to hire opportunity with a growing company and has excellent upward mobility.

Manufacturing Process Engineer job Responsibilities

  • Review and respond to requests for quotes to improve overall quality, productivity and understanding of customer requirements.

  • Create routers for tools and cost-effective routing through the shop, identifying ways of expediting where possible.

  • Provide technical assistance to supervision and machinists with questions pertaining to the manufacturing process.

  • Identify fixturing and special tooling needs as required.


  • 5-7 years experience with large turning, multi-axis milling, fabrication and assembly

operations and machine tool applications in a job shop environment.

  • Bachelor degree as well as related experience helpful. Weld engineering experience is a plus.

  • Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments with all levels.

  • Working knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.

Basic Function Teh R&D Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting state-of-the-art laboratory scale chemical reactors and feed systems, polymer extrusion equipment, computer-based process control system as ell as equipment design, installation, upgrades and major repairs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering with relevant process engineering experience. Degree can be in mechanical or chemical engineering or related field Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in process safety, chemical process development/support and polymer extrusion Highly self-motivated individual, committed to delivering results Excellent attention to detail, with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Laboratory or chemical process equipment experience with a strong chemical and/or mechanical background, including personal and process safety Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
