The Manufacturing Process Engineer will prepare manufacturing job packets to include: 2D & 3D component drawings, bill of materials, machine tool programs, and process routers (travelers) to support all manufacturing processes as needed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and provide detailed tolerance drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software.

• Make engineering design changes to existing standard product drawings as required.

• Establish new product bills of materials.

• Discusses design specifications with engineers to establish component tolerancing.

• Use machine tool programming language to manufacture components i.e., G-code and Laser nesting software.

• Work effectively with different functional areas i.e., engineering, sales, and manufacturing.

• Maintain the latest knowledge of computer aided design software.

• Observes all department and company safety and housekeeping rules.

• Other responsibilities as assigned by manager.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred.

• 2-year CAD certificate from Technical College or equivalent documented experience.

• 2 or more years of AutoCAD drafting experience (SolidWorks ability a plus).

• Experience with CNC programming and/or nesting software for Laser cutting metal working machinery.

• Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to read engineering, architectural, and mechanical drawings.

• Ability to revise engineering drawings based on requirements or engineering department instructions.

• Ability to create detailed shop drawings for fabrication of part and assemblies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize work to align with the deadlines and project milestone dates.
