As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will lead assembly process development for surgical devices, including ensuring that the processes meet regulatory compliance as well as quality and productivity objectives. In this role, you will be able to see the big picture while understanding how each individual part of the process affects the other pieces. You will develop and implement process strategies, manage process resources, optimize current processes, and maintain process documents.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and implement cost-effective, repeatable, and scalable manufacturing processes.
  • Develop process flows and controls to ensure reliability and quality of products & processes.
  • Apply statistical process control and optimize processes for quality and efficiency.
  • Work with equipment and material vendors to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Perform manufacturing process verification/validation testing (IQ, OQ, PQ).
  • Support daily manufacturing operations, and ensure that production, quality, and scrap yields are met.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, and train operators/technicians on new and existing manufacturing processes.


What you bring to the table:

  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, and Operations engineering), top tiered institution with excellent GPA.
  • 2+ years experience as a Process Engineer.
  • Experience in new product production.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of assembly processes.
  • Experience in the medical device industry, or a similarly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of various production methods and 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
