PCC Airfoils, LLC has an immediate openings for reliable and motivated employees at its Crooksville, OH facility.

The Airfoils Division is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Precision Castparts Corp. PCC is seeking individuals with high personal and professional standards who will thrive in a fast-paced, goal oriented work environment.

Successful Candidates will:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED

  • Have the ability to read and understand complex procedures

  • Handle and manipulate air guns, hand tools and other devices to remove excess metal and perform routine operations

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection using specified procedures and gauging devices

  • Have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds

  • Be available for any shift

  • Have regular attendance and the ability to work weekday and weekend overtime

  • Pass a hair-follicle drug test and background check

VIEW JOBS 11/26/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-24T00:00 OVERVIEW: The EH&S Coordinator is responsible for implementing, supporting and maintaining the environmental, health, & safety, health program at the Minerva Facility. The goal of this position is to minimize the risks posed by hazards to its employees and to the company by implementing appropriate hazard control systems and programs and maintaining full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONIBILITIES: * Aid in the development of policies, programs and projects to abate workplace hazards. * Create and update safety procedures and help facility with plant specific issues. * Conduct safety & environmental audits for air, water, hazardous wastes. * Identify hazard priorities and track the plant's progress in addressing these priorities. * Develop and deliver safety training programs as needed including LO/TO, Confined Space Entry. * Establish a sound working relationship with the managers and supervisors regarding the control of occupational safety and health hazards. * Perform accident investigations, injury tracking, monthly reports, and trends. * Maintain an expert level awareness of current OSHA and other applicable safety and health regulations. * Manage and supervise the use of contracted and outside safety consultants to ensure that they provide quality service at costs consistent with the company's requirements. * Submit regulatory reports including Form R, Annual Hazardous Waste Generator Report, Waste Water Discharge Reports, etc. * Work closely with occupational nurse and workers' comp specialist to address industrial injuries, claims and leaves. * Various H.R. assignments and projects as assigned. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree in safety engineering, occupational health, or a related science. * Three plus years' experience in the field of EH&S in a manufacturing environment. * Prior safety experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office Products (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point) * Superior communication, interaction and motivation skills. * Ability to work independently as well as within groups to meet established time lines. * Solid understanding of safety, industrial hygiene and engineering principals and the ability to apply to the company's operations.
