Ways you will make a difference

Primary Purpose:

Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for operations. This position plays a key role in a customer driven manufacturing function charged with continuously improving all aspects of performance.

Skills that will make you successful

  • Managing and documenting new hire training plan and material along with designating next in line trainings for active operation team members.

  • Ensure the department's safety, operational and quality standards are met.

  • Develops material to grow our operations skillset.

  • Develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOP) for new equipment.

  • Provide coverage with all shift supervisors when needed as well as assist with additional concerns off hours.

  • Managing the skills matrix

  • Works with contracted OEMs to develop new trainings when available and executing the trainings across the different shifts.

  • Other duties as assigned

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Superb people skills (coaching, motivation, performance, etc.) at hourly and salary level.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Team building skills both inter and intra department.

  • Exceptional analytical, root-cause-analysis, and decision-making abilities.

  • Effective Written and verbal communication/presentation skills.

  • High-speed packaging equipment application/design, process development, and continuous improvement techniques.

  • Creative, highly motivated, and self-starting.

  • Computer literate, preferably Microsoft outlook and SAP.

  • High sense of awareness

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high stress manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite

  • Detail oriented and have the drive to execute on various tasks.

  • Must have the capability to properly determine priority tasks.

  • Bonus: Is familiar with the RedZone Software platform
