Repair, maintain, and modify production and support equipment on all operating lines to maximize productivity and quality including changeovers, set-ups, installation, and running adjustments on the production lines.

What we offer

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain all packaging and support equipment to optimize efficiency and quality.

  • Conducts line changeovers and makes necessary set-up and adjustments as required by the production schedule.

  • Perform line alteration, rebuilding as necessary.

  • Assist Engineering on equipment installations.

  • Repair and fabricate parts as required.

  • Oil, lubricate, and check equipment and production lines.

  • Operate forklift trucks as required to move equipment or materials.

  • Assist and train team members in simple adjustments and maintenance tasks.

  • Perform all other duties as required.

Who we are looking for

  • Working Conditions: The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required. The work environment is not climate controlled. Noise level in the work environment is usually normal to moderate. Working extended hours may be required. Regularly scheduled attendance is required.

  • Education and Experience: High School graduate or equivalent, ability to read blueprints, possess mechanical skills and work experience. Provide own hand tools. Initiative/motivation and communication skill required.

  • Physical Requirements:
    The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Occasionally this position may require the lifting and/or moving of more than 60 pounds. All lifting must comply with OSHA standards.

Provide own hand tools. * This position has safety requirements that exceed that of typical manufacturing areas. Due to the heightened safety sensitivity in the aerosol area, employees must wear only cotton clothing and must wear Electro-Static Dissipative (ESD) shoes or bootstraps. * Employees working in the aerosol area will receive special training and must pass a written test to ensure retention of the information covered before they will be allowed to work in the aerosol area. * Employees working in the aerosol area must be able to work overtime with minimal advance notification based on the circumstances of production and business needs.
