Role Summary/Purpose

In the role of Manufacturing Manager - Production Supervision, you will:

Essential Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate employees to achieve production goals

Coordinate all front line activities (i.e. Methods, Production, Control) and provide cross-functional leadership to assure the meeting of production schedules, customer satisfaction, cost goals, and maintaining the highest degree of standards

Confer with management to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances

Practice sound human relations and communication skills to motivate the work force and achieve desired levels of efficiency

Review labor efficiency / effectiveness reports and determine the cause of variances, initiate prompt corrective action

Execute operating goals in EHS, Customer Fulfillment, Productivity, and Quality

Develop and maintain a positive, respectful work environment with all employees

Perform administrative duties in a timely manner including: timecards, labor vouchers, self-audits, absence reviews, missing time corrections, etc.

Effectively communicate business goals and objectives to all employees and management

Initiate an open communication pattern to promote exchange of information and ideas with employees, peers, and management

Drive lean manufacturing practices to reduce cycles, cost and inventory

Effectively communicate with all internal and external customers

Improve manufacturing processes to reduce scrap, rework, and drive stable operations

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience

Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures.
