The Maintenance Technician is Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment. Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and troubleshoot using tools and manuals.
Maintain logs and use a variety of hand, power, and test tools. May redesign systems and estimate costs.
A Day in the Life
This is 3rd shift
Monday
Friday, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, weekend overtime. Shift differential included.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.
Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.
May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.
May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
High school degree or GED required
Minimum of 8 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience
Nice to Have
Strong Electromechanical & Pneumatic Equipment troubleshooting
Technical training/certification
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, Cognex Vision and Automated Equipment troubleshooting
Trained/Certified in Lean and/or six sigma

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
