Engineering intern students at LG Chem Power are considered to be an integral part of the Engineering staff and are provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating. Under guidance of the manufacturing staff, the students will be assigned to assist in associated projects with ongoing production and Research & Design programs.

Essential Duties

  • Preparation and examination of engineering drawings and diagrams both manually and using computer-aided systems such as CATIA
  • Support of component and full-scale test activities
  • Miscellaneous technical data generation and analysis using available tools included on PC engineering workstations
  • Able to research and analyze information or data of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions
  • Generate appropriate graphs, charts or presentations in order to communicate ideas and results
  • Assist in creation or maintaining of engineering program documents such as DFMEA, 8D, open issues list and timing plans
  • Interface with other internal organizations such as manufacturing, marketing, service, product support and purchasing, as well as external customers and suppliers

Requirements

  • Full time college student at the junior or senior level by the end of the spring current year's semester
  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited university seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S

TE Connectivity has a Sales internship available in Troy, MI within the Automotive Business Unit. The Sales Intern will assist in process/system development, data analysis & reporting and a variety of complex data manipulation.
