Ensure the safety, quality, efficiency, and timely delivery of Willborn projects and products by:
Modeling our company's core values
Cutting and/or joining metal parts in order to fabricate, construct or repair product offerings using tools such as plasma cutter, mig welder, tig welder, arc welder, oxyacetylene torch, chop saw, grinder, drill press, clamps, and hand & power tools.
Designing and fabricating parts and equipment to meet unusual or special needs of Willborn, using manufacturers' specifications, measuring devices, calculator, drawings and service requests.
Designing and creating holding jigs to aid in the fabrication of parts in multiple numbers, using measuring devices, drawings, saw, and hand and power tools.
Help the manufacturing department reach its established operational and financial goals by:
Maintaining records of work completed in order to provide an accounting of activities in the welding shop.
Calculating quantities, times, materials, distances, weights and standard-to-metric conversions in order to perform work and to prepare cost & billing estimates for unusual jobs.
Maintaining inventory of supplies routinely used in the operation of the welding shop by inspecting stock and suggesting orders as needed.
Ensuring ongoing maintenance, security, and safety of Willborn equipment, shops, tools, and parts

Must have at least 1 year of experience welding gauge metals
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & background checks
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Required to have visual acuity to operate machines where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach.
Required to have visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations.
The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
The worker is subject to noise sufficient to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level.
The worker is subject to hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, etc.
