This Opportunity

Doota Industrial America is seeking a talented and experienced Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Engineer to join our team at an enterprise client location. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) infrastructure to support our client's manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to industry best practices within our client's facility.

As an MES Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest manufacturing technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that align with industry standards. You will play a key role in optimizing the manufacturing process by integrating manufacturing systems, managing data collection, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring real-time visibility across the production floor.

Requirements

  1. Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) : Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining MES infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.
  2. System Integration: Proficient in integrating MES systems with other manufacturing systems
  3. Manufacturing Operations Management: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and data collection.
  4. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of programming languages and tools, such as SQL, C#, .NET, Java, and Python. Familiarity with databases and data management principles.
  5. Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  6. Project Management: Experience leading and managing projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
  7. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and translate technical information to non-technical personnel.
  8. Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose practical solutions.
  9. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  10. Experience with MES software platforms, such as Siemens Opcenter Execution (formerly known as SIMATIC IT) or other similar MES solutions, is preferred.
