Manufacturing Equipment Technician

What you will do:

As our Equipment Technician, you will help the Operations Team by assisting with enhancing our manufacturing capabilities, minimizing downtime, and ensuring optimal efficiency in our production operations where we make products that help control and monitor one of the world's most valuable and limited resources- Water! This position works in our Detroit Lakes, MN location.

The job:

Every day, your primary role will be to maintain manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure optimum performance with minimum downtime and maximum product quality. You will collaborate with the Plant Manager and Manufacturing Engineers to develop and qualify new methods for ongoing production improvement and provide alternative solutions.

You will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of production equipment.

You will perform scheduled preventative maintenance and troubleshoot identified concerns. You will fabricate metal components using milling machines, lathes, and other shop equipment.

The skills you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have an aptitude for repairing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. You should have fabrication skills, including the use of milling machines, lathes, and woodworking equipment.

You must have excellent communication and collaboration skills and be self-motivated. While a 2-year degree is preferred, we will consider a positive attitude, great work ethic and a high school diploma.
