Position Summary

Job Functions:

  • Knowledgeable in PLCs, A/C & D/C Drives, Servo Drives, Motion Controls, Burner Controls (Siemens, Rexroth, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).

  • Understands the process of troubleshooting complex systems and assemblies.

  • Acts as the primary response for production and facility equipment related emergencies including but not limited to climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage and repairs.

  • May act as the project coordinator for all size projects including large scale repair and facility projects.

  • Assists with mechanical functionality and immediately responds to production emergencies.

  • Monitors and replaces light bulbs in and around the Alpharetta facility, as needed.

  • Performs construction electrical work.

  • Timely completes all job function related paper work including but not limited to Work Orders, Shift log entries, Shift Detail cards, requisitions and Managed Inventory logs.

  • Overtime as required.

  • Performs housekeeping and cleaning duties necessary to maintain functional work space integrity.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of Industrial Electrical & Electronics Maintenance experience with hands on knowledge of machinery, basic electrical and electronics with an understanding of machine control systems.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors and vendors.

  • Self-starter and team player.

  • Must be organized and provide deliverables in support of project plans.

  • Certificate by trade school or equivalent work experience related to industrial electrical maintenance a plus.

  • Must have basic understanding of how things work (process-related).

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and against strict time constraints.

  • Ability to use specialized test/diagnostic equipment, powered and non-powered tools.

  • Must have a valid GA Drivers License

  • Must be able to travel to various work-site locations.
