Our Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor performs technical activities which impact the proposal system level design, detail design and manufacture of aerospace structures. The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor prepares, plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standards. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a liaison between project management and planning, project team and line management. You wont just be working on the cutting-edge, youll help define it for the world.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients and other stakeholders

  • Provides technical input to Project or Engineering Management in linking task-related strategy to achieve business goals

  • Understands and interprets the technical, organizational and process aspects of the task assigned and can relate them to the technical needs of the overall large project or organization

  • Plans and executes small projects or task elements within larger projects, organizations, or for groups of projects

  • Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering tasks or small projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines

  • Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering tasks or small projects within area of assigned responsibility

  • Actively uncovers technical and organizational risks and ensures they are included in risk mitigation plans

  • Participates in the proposal process

  • Directs team members to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies

  • Drives continuous improvement throughout the group and processes

  • Assigns tasks and reviews employees work at frequent intervals, participates in performance appraisals, workload planning and scheduling

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $127,000.00 /Yr.
