Role: Manufacturing Engineering Manager - External Tech Op's

Reports to: Senior Manager, Process Engineering

Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our External Technical Ops team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of manufacturing engineers/Project Managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive exceptional performance and results.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies working with global Internal & External Partners to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency through the Spartan program.

  • Collaborate with E2E partners such as Source/R&D/SQE to ensure successful implementation of planned projects.

  • Execution of strategic projects such as product transfers, BCP, quality and compliance remediations in order to meet business needs.

  • Management of associated project budgets for Capital/expense and VCP targets.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, using data and analytics to identify opportunities to drive down cost and reduce risk within the external supply chain.

  • Maintain compliance and ensure product quality by strictly following regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and accountability, promoting teamwork and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

  • Build and develop the engineering team through the selection, recruitment and development of extraordinary engineering talent, and the development of core technical skills and knowledge to support future growth.

  • This role can be based from Blackpool, Leeds, UK, Cork, Ireland, Warsaw and Raynham, US.
