Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Position Overview:

The focus of this role is to audit, write, maintain, and train to technical operating instructions. As a liaison between Production and Engineering, this person will be investigating and troubleshooting process discrepancies, and correcting them, as well as identifying gaps and addressing them.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:

• Produce clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for end users, focusing on features and technical documentation related to installation procedures for our products and processes.

• Work closely with Engineering and Operations departments to understand product requirements to translate into clear and concise end-user documentation.

• Manage documentation platforms, ensuring documentation is organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible to internal teams and end users.

• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Self-starter who can grasp new concepts/processes quickly and strive for continuous learning and improvement

• Excellent attention to detail

• Organized, possesses time management skills, and an ability to multi-task

• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Educational and Experience Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• SolidWorks

• Technical Writing experience

• Must be able to read prints
