Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer in Kent, Ohio. Join the team of a growing tank & trailer manufacturer and design and build tools, jigs, and fixtures to support and improve manufacturing operations!

PERK: Four 10 hour days--flexible start time, come in as early as 6am.

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will:

• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to assure production efficiency.

• Develop process flows, tool boards, etc. to help shop improve/increase production.

• Solve problems on shop production floor

• Design and build devices to manufacture tanks and trailers with maximum efficiency.

• Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.

• Assemble and test complex tools and dies on manufacturing equipment.

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associate degree in Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline preferred.

• 3- 5 years experience in improving manufacturing processes and increasing production.

• Intermediate to Advanced skills using SolidWorks.

• Mig, tig and arc weld.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience working with multiple discipline projects.

• Able to work in a factory environment with noise, dust and mechanical operations.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000/year

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
