Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description Job Description TPT is hiring a full time Manufacturing Engineer to support our growing client base. This role will lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and support Lean Manufacturing practices.

The Manufacturing Engineer will work on process controls, cost-saving projects, and capital equipment recommendations while ensuring high-quality production standards. Manufacturing Engineer job Responsibilities: Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing techniques, including Kanban, visual management, 5S, and setup reduction.

Utilize formal problem-solving techniques to resolve complex manufacturing issues. Manage and execute productivity and cost-saving initiatives. Develop and maintain process documentation, including routings, standard work, and work instructions.

Support research, evaluation, and justification of capital equipment investments. Participate in strategic manufacturing process development and capital planning. Analyze engineering changes for manufacturing impact and feasibility.

Assist Purchasing and Quality Assurance in supplier qualification for new and modified products. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Experience with machining, tooling, fixtures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated project management experience. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and AutoCAD.
