Summary of Position

The Manufacturing Engineer will support engineering and manufacturing operations, focusing on the scope and relevance of various ongoing projects. Responsibilities include creating CAD files, analyzing data related to material properties and operations, managing R&D projects, and providing technical support.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering department with cost-reduction projects, including automation initiatives.

• Manage R&D projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful completion along with applicable documentation.

• Develop samples for product testing and utilize CAD files for product development.

• Order and specify hardware and software for manufacturing technology systems.

• Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF standards.

• Support estimating, production, and sales teams in new product development.

• Prepare technical documentation for operational and testing methods/procedures as needed.

• Participate in LEAN activities and adhere to its principles to optimize workflow efficiencies.

• Ensure accurate testing and reporting methods.

• Perform variable data programming for manufacturing processes.

• Analyze data and prepare reports to support research and data collection.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D customer or TLP drawings.

• Proficient in computer drafting using SolidWorks, Vectorworks, or similar software.

• Strong data analysis skills and experience with relevant software for documentation.

• Proficiency with both Mac and Windows operating systems.

• Experience with statistical analysis software and ERP systems is preferred.

• Demonstrates initiative, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and communication skills.

• Familiarity with the Google Suite and Microsoft Office is preferred.
