Partner with the best

Responsible for Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Develops an operational year plan for the own manufacturing activities. Suggests improvements in products, processes and procedures.

  • Support the plant's interdependent safety culture by observing and reporting safety observations in a timely manner.

  • Work collaboratively among the manufacturing engineers and production team to trouble shoot the products.

  • Perform qualification tests for the new materials to support component obsolescence project

  • Work closely with technical writer and production team for assembly and testing procedures improvement.

  • Managing multiple quick turnaround projects to facilitate product and process improvement.

  • Investigate root cause for trending issues at suppliers and on the production floor, provide investigation results to engineering team.

  • Support quality engineering by performing tests on the defective products and provide educated guess to quality engineering.

  • Work with engineering team to develop and design various fixtures to support the assembly of productions tools in a safe and proper manner.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • HS Diploma or GED

  • Familiar with Baker Hughes Wireline Services products

  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in supply chain or Manufacturing Engineering.

  • 1-3 years of experience with processes and procedures used in the design, construction, testing, and packaging of electronics and drilling/measurement systems.

  • 1-3 years of exposure to test hardware and software used to test components, assemblies, and systems

  • ERP system experience required (preferably SAP)
